Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Hon’ble Vice President of India assured industry leaders that he would help deliver Ease of Governance to enable a growth-oriented ecosystem that would allow the Indian industry to grow geometrically at AIMA’s 49th National Management Convention.
AIMA’s 49th National Management Convention was opened with the Inaugural Address by Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Hon’ble Vice President of India, and this is how his Address went.
Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar started by saying that it is “soothing” to note that business leaders, academicians and administrators are playing a critical role in shaping India’s incremental trajectory in all facets, in very challenging times.
An unprecedented event like Covid was an indicator of how India as a nation could come together to battle it and become one of the greatest vaccine manufacturers, besides vaccinating its large population against Covid.
He also attributed India being the 5th largest Economy, to the business leaders who with their astute knowledge of business and a sharp acumen for strategies led the country to its growth. He said that the leaders must feel proud of the country’s transformation with them having a hand on it. He also said that they must contain the adverse voices that emerge from within and outside the country.
Shri Jagdeep Dhankar also assured India’s business leaders that he would be their foot solider and would help deliver ease of governance to enable an ecosystem that would allow Indian industry to grow geometrically. “The only thing that is holding Indian business leaders back and giving them sleepless nights is a lack of ease of governance. However, optimisation is taking place that will fructify in a more soothing ecosystem,” he said.
He also spoke about how India has changed over the years in terms of strategies for businesses. “Youngsters only need to have an idea. Money is no longer a constraint,” he said. He attributed the changes that the country has witnessed to the people who were “catalysts” in doing so. Democracy can blossom and thrive only in a transparent and accountable ecosystem, he said. He also pointed out that with India taking over the presidency of G20 later this year, the country will play a key role in the global economic and political agenda.
Taking about the Farm Sector he said that its success is linked to India’s progress. “If an Indian farmer progresses, India progresses,” he said. The leaders know that economy is driven by farm produce so Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar appreciated their contribution for being the architects of Atmanirbhar Bharat too.
Lastly, while applauding the people of India, he said that “innovation is in our DNA” thus newer benchmarks have to be created to achieve the targets set for India. “We are a nation on the rise,” he added.
